LOOTING: THE RELIGION OF ACCIDENTAL SENATORS

Nigeria Senate
Since the advent of this democray, the Nigeria National Assembly has been very corrupt and when it comes to looting in Nigeria, there is no difference between political parties or "honest" or dishonest legislators. Simply put, there is no honesty. Furthermore, there is no difference between ethnicity, religion or region. They all have one common purpose: to loot Nigeria at any slight opportunity.

99.9% of Nigerian legislators (whether in the Senate or House of Representatives or State Assemblies; whether they are Christians, Muslims, Traditionalists, Atheists or what have you or whether they are Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Efik, Fulani, Ijaw, Kanuri, Ibibio, Nupe, Tiv, etc) they are very dishonest. The only language they understand or religion they have in common is LOOTING. Some might pretend to be honest, showing outwardly to the people that they are honest and that they are for the people. It's all pretense and what has been happening in the National Assembly since 1999 till date are all the numerious evidences. I can tell you right now, none of them is honest. They are all self-seeking. Once it comes to money, positions, expectations, what will benefit them and their families now or in the future at the expense of the citizens, they will all agree on that very quickly, even the remaining .1% will switch side at the last minute. That is Nigeria.
They are all Nigerians. I keep asking myself, how come we don't have some senators who are honest and some who are not? I keep wondering why even though tribes and religion may differ, how come they are all the same when it comes to looting? I kept asking myself why not a single person from any tribe or of any religion revolted against Dasuki when he doled out the $2.1b to them. Hausa and Fulani took the money. Igbo took the money. Yoruba took the money. Nobody said no, that it was wrong.

And what was it you were saying again? That you will find some Nigerian senators who will be different? Iyasikwa.

Apart from Buhari's candidacy that Nigerians actually voted for in the last general elections, Nigerians voted for political parties instead of the individual candidates and that was a mistake on their part, because parties don't make candidates. So, all those thieves and rogues, who called themselves senators are actually accidental senators. They were not elected by the people. They rode on Buhari's candidacy undetected. But that will change in 2019 God willing, like I said the day Buhari was elected. I have a strategy in works for that.

But we elected them. Why did we choose to elect senators that are now so bad so soon? And they are mostly APC, swept into office on the promise to wage a war on corruption.

Nigerians must rise up and challenge the thieves called senators who are hell bent on amending the CCT and CCB Act and they are already doing that. Kudos to them all!

One thing I know and I'm sure of is that laws are not retroactive, so no matter what the thieves in the Senate are trying to achieve, they can never stop Saraki's trial at the CCT. Saraki will be tried under the current laws, no matter what they do. Saraki is toast! Secondly, Buhari has a veto power and he will never assent to the bills. He will veto them outright and the thieves can never get enough votes to override Buhari's vetoes.

If Nigeria will ever get it right, then Nigerians must be more extral ordinarily vigillante in mornitoeing our public officals.
Ride on, fellow Nigerians!
