Determined to ensure that Federal Government’s business oriented regulatory agencies become facilitators for Micro, Small, & Medium Scale Enterprises, MSMES, the Buhari presidency would do all within its ability to support them and ensure they become thriving businesses.

This assurance was given earlier today by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, during a visit to Aba, Abia State, where he participated in the First MSMES Clinics after the media launch in Abuja on Tuesday.

OSINBAJO: PRESIDENT BUHARI AWARE OF FRUSTRATIONS BUSINESSES HAVE WITH GOVT AGENCIES & WANTS TO END THEM

REMARKS BY HIS EXCELLENCY, THE VICE PRESIDENT, PROF YEMI OSINBAJO, SAN, GCON AT THE MEDIA LAUNCH OF MSME CLINICS AT THE STATE HOUSE BANQUET HALL, ABUJA ON TUESDAY JANUARY 24, 2017

I am pleased to be here at this media launch of the MSME Clinics.

Sometime in July 2015 Mr. President spoke to me about the frustrations of anyone who has to do business with government agencies.

He gave the example of an NGO that wanted to install a cancer screening equipment donated by a friendly government several years ago, and it took 7years to finally install it. He said how does the economy function when government agencies are prepared to deliberately or unwittingly frustrate economic agents.
