NIGERIAN ARMY: 7 DIVISION PARTNERS YOLA DISTRIBUTION COMPANY FOR METERING OF BARRACKS

7 Division Nigerian Army has opened dialogue with Yola Electricity Distribution Company for effective metering of barracks within its Area of Responsibility (AOR) in line with Army Headquarters directive.

The Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu brainstormed on modalities for the metering with the Yola Electricity Distribution Company’s Area Head (North 1), Zinab Hassan and Marketing Manager, Adamu Auta as well as Abubakar Ahmed Officer in Charge of Military Accounts at the Headquarters 7 Division, Maimalari Cantonment, Maiduguri. 

Breaking: ACTING GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 7 DIVISION ESCAPE AMBUSH IN BORNO STATE

The leading elements of the Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC), 7 Division Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu’s leading convoy was about 8.30am this morning ambushed by suspected Boko Haram terrorists enroute to visit troops in Bama.

Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations who confirmed the ambush sais "although 1 soldier loss his live and 2 others were injured, they were able to clear the ambush, killing some of the terrorists and recovered vehicle and weapons from them. The recovered items include a Toyota Hilux vehicle, 2 AK-47 rifles and several ammunitions."
