We choose unity: APC is a home for all Nigerians - Gov. Fashola’s speech at APC convention

This is a historic day not only for the APC but also for our nation. The work we begin today is the work that will build a New Nigeria; a future when there are jobs for everyone who wants to work; a future without leaders who deprive the very families they are supposed to protect; A future of peace and stability; a future when Nigeria can feed its families; a future when a Nigerian education is as good as any education in the world; a future when the high prices of food and fuel don’t undermine every family’s quality of life.

This is the future that we start to build here, today. This is why we have come from all parts of the nation.

APC Convention: APC Looks like Old PDP?

After watching the APC convention, seeing all the people sitted on the podium.

My conclusion is this ...... APC did not mobilise Nigerians, they moved from city to city to mobilise those who ruined Nigeria!!! 

Does APC not now looks like the old PDP ?

Buhari to INEC : Conduct 2015 elections same day

(NAN)- Former Head of State, Retired Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday, advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct 2015 general elections on the same day.

Buhari gave the advice in Daura, Katsina State, while answering questions from newsmen after he obtained APC membership card.

He said that conducting the elections in one day would help in reducing election malpractice and save cost.

He added that the litigations that trailed the 2003, 2007 and 2011 general elections would be avoided if the elections were held on the same day.

“If all the elections are conducted on the same day, there will be less cases of snatching of ballot boxes and use of political thugs to rig elections,’’ he said.

Buhari, who urged party members to come out en masse and register with the APC, expressed optimism that the opposition party would win the 2015 general elections in the country.
