Nearly twenty persons have been gruesomely murdered after gunmen attacked two communities in Ahoada East local government area of Rivers state on Saturday night (30/4/16) leaving trails of savagery in their path.We gathered that some heavily armed men led by a notorious cult leader invaded Edoha community killing and beheading a certain herbalist, Iwuoma Ichocho and four others who were with him. Community sources say the gunmen attacked when they got wind that the native healer was extracting bullets from some persons believed to be members of a rival cult group who may have sustained injuries from an earlier gun battle. The home of the herbalist was burnt down with the bodies of the victims while their decapitated heads were used to adorn major road junctions in the community.
