Musa Poised To Break Transfer Record as Leicenster City ready to pay more

The Nigerian Super Eagles and CSKA Moscow star Ahmed Musa is poised to break the transfer record if his transfer to the English Premier League materializes this summer.

“CSKA are in talks with two clubs from the English Premier League Leicester City and Tottenham,” a source confirmed from Russia.  

It has been reported that Leicester City are willing to splash €30 million to sign the pacy striker from the Muscovites, while Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid in the region of €25 million.

“For Ahmed it is a priority to transfer to the London team. However, in this situation, not everything will depend on the willingness of the player.

The Nigerian Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa scored CSKA Moscow's first goal in their 3-2 UCL Group Stage game win over PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday evening. The Nigerian got his side’s curtain raiser as they marched past the canon in Wednesday's Champions League game at the Arena Khimki

 Musa recorded his name on the scorers’ sheet in CSKA Moscow 3-2 defeat of PSV Eindhoven in a Uefa Champions League game played at the Arena Khimki on Wednesday night. The game which was Leonid Slutsky side’s first win in the competition saw the former Kano Pillars forward net the first goal of the encounter in the eighth minute.

Fifa World Cup 2014: Nigeria Eagles Face France

The Nigerian Super Eagles will face France on Mon, Jun 30, 5:00 PM at Round of 16 of the ongoing Fifa world cup at Estádio Nacional de Brasilia, Brasília.

France were held to a scoreless draw by ten-man Ecuador but still finished top of Group E to book their Afro-Franco grudge match against Nigeria in the last 16 on Monday in Brasilia.

Nigeria Eagles finished second behind Group F leader Argentina.

The meeting will be the 1998 champions first against Nigeria since June 2, 2009 in a friendly played in Saint Etienne that the Super Eagles won 1-0.

Keshi calls for prayers as Nigerian Eagles land in Brazil

The Coach of the Nigerian Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi as called on the Nigerians to pray for the National team to excel in this year Brazil FIFA world cup .

The Supper Eagles of Nigeria arrived in Brazil late on Tuesday from the United States of America.They arrived through Sao Paulo  and Coach Stephen Keshi has appealed to Nigerians on Wednesday morning to pray fervently for the team to do well in the World Cup, where the team will play Iran, Bosnia and Argentina in Group F.
