A Nigerian Patriot once said: the most glaring demonstration of ineptitude in the ranks and files of Nigerian Govt Officials is the predilection for resorting to the laziest and most uninventive solutions to national problems; this is because these people are clueless, essentially devoid of creativity, innovative and imaginative thinking, and other rigorous efforts to resolve national challenges.
Fuel-related challenges are nothing new in Nigeria; most of the actors/actresses there now have been around like most of us; however, all this time, for over 30 years now, it appears the imperativeness of domestic refineries and lasting solutions to importation of refines fuels have not been appreciated by Nigerian Govt Officials whose job descriptions center around these issues; because they've been doing nothing serious to forge solutions to palpable fuel crises, whenever there's an escalation, you see them scrambling and fidgeting as they're doing now to find solutions; and of course, the laziest and most convenient solution that wont task the intellects of the Nigerian Govt Officials are the once they will embrace..........let's increase the price of petrol!
