First, they said it was too early to criticize PMB for non-performance. Why not wait a year before criticizing, they said. Thankfully, a year has since passed and things have worsened, so that excuse has expired.
When "too early to criticize" wore thin, the Buharists transitioned to another excuse: 16 years of PDP damage cannot be fixed in a year, they said; never mind that at least 40 percent of the people in the current administration have origins in the PDP and participated extensively in this 16 year destruction they speak of.
It is September 2016 and the economy lies comatose, rendered dysfunctional by a combination of outmoded economic thinking, arbitrary statism, and panicky policy flip-flops. It is increasingly clear now that it's not the 16 year PDP plague or the low oil price, or Niger Delta Avengers, that has taken Nigerian into recession. Rather, It is key decisions taken in the early days of this administration and stubbornly maintained against wise expert counsel. These foundational knee jerk measures are responsible for the recession as Emir Sanusi of Kano correctly stated. Although some of these policies have been reversed, their debilitating aftermaths persist, deepening the recession.

THE SAME GOD - BY SHOBAYO
The same God that created Brazilian hair, American hair, Chinese hair, Mexican hair and Indian hair is still the same God that created African hair. If God want to give African women especially you, a Chinese hair or Brazilian hair, He would have did so, right from your Mother's womb before you were born. Women that wearing artificial hair and human hair are never have freedom from the bondage of Satan, in fact......... They are always customer of spiritual husband and never get delivered from the spirit of lust, seduction and immorality.
DUE PROCESS WILL PREVAIL AND MY MANDATE, THE MANDATE OF THE GOOD PEOPLE OF ONDO, WILL BE RECLAIMED! SAYS OLUSEGUN ABRAHAM
Olusegun Abraham |
The past few days have been quite eventful in the annals of our party in Ondo state, the eyes of the entire nation was on us, waiting to see how we were going to emerge from the unfortunate irregularities that befell the September 3rd gubernatorial primary election of our party.
After painstaking deliberation and consideration of evidence-backed petitions by our party's Electoral Appeal Committee and the National Working Committee (NWC), it was recommended that the September 3rd Primary election be annulled, and thankfully, this recommendation was ratified and upheld by a majority of our NWC, yesterday.
And just like most of you, I was disappointed at the inexplicably unexpected and unjustifiable move by our party's National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, to have disregarded this informed stance of the NWC that favored annulment of that fraud-ridden primary, moving ahead to submit a name to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
