Recovering stolen funds from past corrupt leaders: Merciless Looting Ongoing Under Buhari

While we are recovering stolen funds from past corrupt leaders, let us not forget that the present leaders are looting mercilessly simply because they are the new government and are still operating under the old system.

It is the same old system that allowed our past leaders loot us blind that the our leaders are still operating with. The system shapens their behaviour and makes them all become thieves.

There are two words in fighting corruption 'reactive' and 'proactive'. EFCC is a reactive institution. It only comes after you have successfully stolen but you are stupid not to cover your tracks well. EFCC cannot catch extremely smart thieves.

Apc raises alarm over PDP’s alleged plan to assassinate Adeleke, three others

All Progressives Congress (APC) has alerted security apparatus in Osun State that Omisore and the PDP have contracted the assassination of four top APC leaders to hired killers from the Niger Delta for immediate execution.

The leaders involved are Alhaji Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke (the first civilian governor of the state), Elder Peter Babalola (aka Peter Action), Chief Olu Abiola and Alhaji Fatai Oyedele.

The hired killers, APC reliably gathered, have already commenced surveillance on the four leaders.

Very credible sources from the PDP alerted the APC that top PDP officials took this decision at a meeting in Lagos yesterday.

Biodun Sowunmi Wrote about Ekiti Election

I was in Ekiti State to monitor the election. One undisputed fact is that APC leaders in each town, local government areas, and the State executives were either arrested or driven underground by the security forces led by Musiliu Obanikoro, Minister of State for Defence and Adeshiyan, Minister of Police Affairs. Journalists and observers were harassed, arrested, and the Osun Broadcasting Corporation 4-man crew were deported to Ora a border town with Kwara State on the flimsy excuse that they conducted an interview with Chief Segun ONI in his Ifaki home. Many people who were not journalists were arrested in most hotels in Ado-Ekiti. Not one person has been paraded as a thug.

When I learnt of the storming of EMAX hotel Ado-Ekiti from a female reporter, I drove down to the hotel in the night and met soldiers harassing occupants of the hotel. 6 people were made to sit on bare floor. A man who claimed he visited the hotel to eat was taken away to identify his residence. No one in the hotel ever saw him again.

WHY I HAVE LEFT THE APC - Femi Fani-Kayode

I declared for the APC in June last year in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state well before the party was registered by INEC. I formally joined the party, amidst great fanfare, on 7th February 2014 in my hometown Ile-Ife and I registered my membership on that day.

The registration was done outside the Ooni's palace and it was done in the prescence of the media, numerous party leaders in the state, including Hon. Rotimi Makinde, who represents Ile-Ife at the Federal House, and all the other key leaders of the APC in the state and Ife-Ife including Chief Akantioke and Alhaji Soko Adewoyin the former Deputy Governor of Osun state.

After registering we proceeded to pay a courtesy call on my traditional ruler, the Ooni of Ife, and from there I went to spend a few days with Governor Rauf Aregbesola who, together with Governor Kayode Fayemi, I am close to and I consider to be friends.
