President Jonathan on Friday cancelled a Scheduled visit to Chibok, in Borno state.Chibok, is in south and about 140 kilometres drive from Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, the hometown of more than 200 schoolgirls who were kidnapped by Islamic militants. The Presidency had said president Jonathan will visit the town today but a senior government official said Jonathan's trip to remote Chibok in Borno state as "was on (the president's) schedule up to this morning" but the visit had been scrapped till further notice.
Why thee much awaited official visit by the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan to Chibok Local Government Area of Borno state slated for today (Friday) has be postponed indefinitely has not been officially made public bu the sources said, the postponement of the visit became necessary due to some important engagement which is not unconnected to the security reasons.

Nyanya Bombing: How Wanted Suspect Was Arrest in Sudan
One of the wanted suspects of the April 14 Abuja - Nyanya Bombing, Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche, has been arrested in Sudan. The arrest came after the National Bureau of the Interpol based at the Nigerian Police Force Headquarters issued an international red alert for the search and arrest of the fugitive suspect.
The Director General of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mike Omeri made the announcement yesterday. He said “Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche who was earlier declared wanted has been arrested in Sudan with the efforts of the Army, DSS, the National Bureau of the Interpol based at the Nigerian Police Force Headquarters and security operatives of Sudan."
According to him, security operatives are already working to ensure his extradition back to Nigeria, promising that further information on him and the second suspect will be communicated to the public has they are coming in.
