Five killed as 2 Explosion hit fuel depot in Lagos

Two explosions occurred in Apapa, Lagos on Wednesday night, with sources claiming that five persons died while many were injured. Sources confirmed that the explosions occurred almost at the same time, with the first at the entrance to the Folawiyo tank farm and the other inside the facility.

It was gathered that the explosion inside the tank farm left four people dead and many left injured. According to sources, two petrol tankers were involved in the explosions. The trucks were said to have caught fire after they exploded.

A fierce riot occurred on Friday in Apapa, Lagos state, between tanker drivers and military personnel after the death of a tanker driver.

According to reports, a naval officer had shot a tanker driver identified as Lekan to death after Lekan and his boss refused to pay a bribe of N500 to the naval officer.

This led to the huge brawl with tires being burnt and roads being barricaded. 

Woman who allegedly stabbed an expectant mother strips in police station to escape arrest

A woman who allegedly stabbed an expectant mother and attempted abducting a 10 year old Tuesday stripped herself naked in a police station Lagos. The incident occurred inside the premises of Ajegunle police station, Ajeromi/Ifelodu Local Government Area (LGA).

It was gathered that the woman stripped to avoid been arrested for the offences she allegedly committed.

Sources said the woman who identified herself as an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), abducted the primary school pupil at Barra School.
