Nigerian House of Representatives, on Thursday, under Matters of Urgent Public Importance condemned the alleged use of chemical weapons and other forms of attacks on Benue communities by suspected Fulani herdsmen that have left many dead and others displaced.
Chairman of Committee on Women Affairs, Christina Alaaga, directed the Department of State Security (DSS), the Army and the Nigeria Police to expose those behind the incessant killings of the innocent peoples and bring them to book.
The Nigerian Army as since deployed troops and officers to the troubled areas which covered three states of Nasarawa, Benue and Kastina.
The troop in a fire for fire encountered with the Fulani Herdsmen , yesterday, killed over fifty of the suspected attackers in Keana local government area of Nasarawa state.
