AREGBESOLA'S VICTORY IS A STATEMENT OF FACT ABOUT HIS EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE - PASTOR W.F. KUMUYI

The General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry , Pastor William Folorunso Kumiyi has descibed Governor of the state of Rauf Aregbesola as a man who has demonstrated exemplary leadership with his disposition to all religion creeds and massive infra structural development in the state. 

He said the attitude of the governor has not suggested any form of favouritsm to any religion in his policies and programme.

The Deeper Life General Overseer made the statement while addressing journalists during a Courtesy visit to the Governor, at the State House, Osogbo. 

Kumuyi thank God for the peaceful conduct of the August 9 Governorship Election in the state and the emergence of Governor Aregbesola for second term while urging the governor to double his efforts during the second term.

Ebola death toll: Liberia's president declares state of emergency

Curfew & quarantine announced in Liberia to tackle Ebola virus.

Liberia President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf imposes night-time curfew in a bid to stem Ebola outbreak. The country is already under a state of emergency, and the latest action also will block all movement in and out of West Point, home to at least 50,000 people. 
Over the weekend, residents angered over the placement of an Ebola center in West Point looted the facility and 37 patients left who were supposed to be under surveillance.

West Africa: UN envoy cites region’s daunting challenges, Boko Haram threat to Nigeria

While countries in West Africa are trying to promote development and consolidate democracy, they continue to face daunting challenges such as transnational organized crime and growing terrorist activities, the top United Nations official in the region told the Security Council on Tuesday, while also warning of the increasing threat the Boko Haram crisis poses to Nigeria.

Said Djinnit, the Secretary-General’s Special Representative for West Africa, added that the UN Office for West Africa (UNOWA), which he heads, has been trying to sensitize regional leaders to the need for “decisive concerted efforts” to fight these threats to regional security and stability.
