The Special Forces of the Nigeria Army on Thursday repelled another attack on Madagali headquarters of Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State in the early hours of today. A security source said the insurgents started the operation at Maisuru-Dawa village before heading towards Madagali for another attack by 10.20am.The source said that Special Forces on the ground were few and were in urgent need of reinforcement during the attack on Madagali. It was stated however that the timely response of the military saved the day as the insurgents were chased away by immediate reinforcements and a military jet deployed for the operation.
