PRESS RELEASE: BEWARE OF SUICIDE BOMBERS’ NEW TACTICS OF EVADING DETECTION - ARMY

Attention of the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), has been drawn to a new tactic being adopted by female suicide bombers in the North East.

Female suicide bombers are now evading detection from security operatives by carrying babies on their back, that ordinarily pass them for innocent nursing mothers.

The two recent suicide bomb attacks in Madagali, Adamawa State are instructive in this regard.

The DHQ wishes to seize this opportunity to appeal to members of the public to be patient and cooperate with the military and other security agencies while carrying out thorough security search and checks as the essence is to nip in the bud the murderous intention of the Boko Haram suicide bombers.

Tyrant Buhari wields the power of legistlative ,judicial all by himself.Nigeria is not truly a nation governed by the rule of law

Buhari
Press Statement

JUSTICE BINTA FATIMAT MURTALA-NYAKO IS A DISGRACE TO THE JUDICIARY AND COURSE OF JUSTICE

Without any shred of doubt, Hon. Justice Binta Fatimat Murtala-Nyako (57 years old) is a monumental disgrace to the Judiciary and the greatest purveyor of injustice ever known to man. The world must be put on notice that this female Judge lacks basic understanding of her job as well as the capability to differentiate between a private citizen and a public servant at the level of the President of a country. In her gaffe on the 1st of December 2016 which was the day she denied bail for Nnamdi Kanu, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako averred that Muhammadu Buhari’s prejudicial statement on Nnamdi Kanu’s case during his Presidential media chat of December 30, 2015, was a mere comment from a private citizen which he (Buhari) is entitled to as part of his fundamental human right. We are not surprised that on the night of the same day of her gaffe, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako had a dinner at the Presidential Villa with Muhammadu Buhari.

Gen Muhammadu Buhari; The Symbol of Political Consistency and Reliability By: Jasper Azuatalam

The attitude of many poltucians in Nigeria will make one to wonder if there are still politucians with integrity, steadfastness, consistency, reliabilty among various qualities that a consummate and people oriented politicians should posses.

In 2002, Gen Muhammadu Buhari declared his intention to join politics as an opposition politician because of what he describes as the inability of the rulling Peoples Demicratic Party PDP to deliver the dividends of democracy which they promised Nigerians in 1999. He contested the 2003 presidential election as the leading opposition candidate.

In 2007, he did not change his mind as he contested against the rulling party. He stood firm in what he believes. He became more resilient and determined as the days go bye. In 2011, he took another step in the same direction. The Peoples Demicratic Party PDP was ready to wooe Buhari as they were ready to give even more than half of their kingdom to bring Buhari to their fold. Buhari stood firm and held to his believe and vision that the PDP which has failed Nigerians should be shown the way out by the ballots.

EXCLUSIVE: The massive cash withdrawals that put Adamawa officials in trouble - PREMIUM TIMES

PREMIUM TIMES has obtained a record of alleged massive withdrawals by officials of the Adamawa State Government on which basis the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it froze some key accounts belonging to the state.
Documents detailing the withdrawals are posted below.
Sources in the EFCC had told this newspaper on Friday that it moved into Adamawa State and froze the government’s bank account as a precautionary measure to safeguard the state treasury amidst evidence of looting uncovered in the agency’s ongoing investigation.

The records obtained Saturday showed that the withdrawals were facilitated or made by key officials, including the Secretary to the State Government, the State Commissioner for Finance, former Commissioner for Local Government (now Commissioner for Higher Education), the Accountant General of the State and the Permanent Secretary, Ministry for Local Government. Those officials have been arrested and quizzed.

The Adamawa State government had on Thursday raised the alarm that the federal government had frozen all the state’s bank accounts.

The move came amidst impeachment moves against Governor Murtala Nyako by the Peoples’ Democratic party, PDP-led members of the state’s House of Assembly.

The state’s lawmakers accused Mr. Nyako and Bala Ngillari, the Deputy Governor, of siphoning funds from the state’s treasury running into billions of Naira.

But the EFCC said its investigation was triggered by petitions alleging massive looting of the treasury by the governor and his cronies through an illegal department called Special Programme and Project Units, SPPU, which engaged in over invoicing and inflation of contract.
