Bomb Blast: Troops Arrest Mubi Car Bomb Suspect

A suspect said to have been identified with the car used in conveying the bomb device that exploded at Mubi in Adamawa State Sunday evening has been arrested by troops in the area,PRnigeria reported .

He is being interrogated while further investigation is ongoing. Meanwhile the Sunday evening occurred Kabang area of Mubi in Adamawa State.

The policeman’s account was confirmed by a nurse at the Mubi General Hospital, who also requested anonymity, as the health worker was not authorised to discuss the attack with the media.

The Nigeria Military director of defence information, Maj.-Gen. Chris Olukolade, said that two suspects had been arrested in connection with the blast but that of the suspects died in the hospital as a result he sustained during the attack.

The said Bomb explosion occurred in Kabang area of the town in Mubi South Local Government Area.
