Osun Poll: Civil Servants Warned Omisore

Osun Civil Servants warned Sen. Iyiola Omisore to stop blackmailing them in his futile efforts to govern the state. The gathering of civil servants that were engaged on Friday expressed dissatisfaction with the way PDP has been mocking their names.

One of the civil servants lambasted Omisore, the man who gave a straight face said, yes! We are aware the way Senator Omisore has been boasting around that he will win this election based on the union members supports. I think he should wake up on time and get his things done by himself because we are not involved. He confirmed the speculation of bribery allegations against some corrupted and weak souls that doesn't have minds of their own within the union to be true. Yes! Few of us sold themselves to PDP for ranges of price and promises of appointments and juicy department.
When asked of their views on the challenges of allocation dwindling facing the state and their perceptions towards Aregbesolas approach to their welfare, he said, to be candid, Aregbe is the only governor that we have seen that will sit down with the workers irrespective of their ranks, ask them to access the government and make suggestions to improve quality of live and services.

Also, on delay on payment of salary, he said, civil servants are not ingrates, we knew it wasn't his fault because we enjoyed prompt payment of salaries for more than almost 3 years until early this year that the dwindling allocation started telling on State. She claimed allocation to state dropped unexpectedly around July/August last year but the governor ensured we were not affected and even received 13th months full salary for 2013 calendar year. This is the best you could expect for now from a governor that is laying good foundations in all other sectors as well.

When asked if he is positive of Aregbesola's victory at d poll, he smiled and said he remains neutral as a civil servant but he heard his family, friends, relatives and neighbours saying all their votes belong to Ogbeni. So also are the response of others.
