I wish to make this post to point our attention to the place of vodooism (jujuism) and prayer to the Almighty (The living God) and which one is more potent out of the two. I uploaded two pictures showing the two families that contested the election for illustration and to drive home my points as I do not intend to insult outgoing Governor Fayemi who earned my respect for his brave action of accepting defeat even when his Party had already made statement rejecting the outcome of the election and when Nasir El-Rufai was already ranting about Ekiti Election he knew nothing about.
While the outgoing governor with his wife were pursuing the election with vodooism and jujuism, the incoming governor with his wife were pursuing the seat with fasting and prayer to the living God.
The picture of Governor Fayemi being backed by his wife before some Ekiti Women mobilized from all the 16 LGs in Oluyemi Kayose Stadium is nothing but jujuism.
It is also on record as the story was published by all major newspaper that the wife of incoming governor Fayose said it sometime last year that while praying during 3 days dry fasting and prayer, the the Living God revealed to her that her husband will return as Governor to Ekiti Government house. She was scorned by many and made a laughing stock and some people in the outgoing government particularly the wife of the outgoing Governor, called her a psychologically depressed person and referred her to Aro Psychiatric Hospital but now we have all agreed that the next First Lady of Ekiti is serving a living God based on the outcome of the election and some People referred to her as another T. B Joshua!
During the campaign struggles, I visited Afao home of Fayose and I met the wife in company of some men of God praying and seeking the face of God on the Ekiti affair and that God answered by fire last Saturday!
While Fayose's wife was organizing fasting and prayer to the living God for her husband, Fayemi's wife was organizing harbalism, voodoism and jujuism and she went to the extent of backing Fayemi like a baby before the whole World in a stadium. It is a contradiction in Ekiti and Yoruba culture for an adult to be backed like a baby not to talk of a wife backing her husband and his Deputy in a stadium, what a highest level of vodooism and jujuism.
After the whole exercise, the more potent God have spoken. Please join me in shouting Haleluuuuuya and give glory and adoration to the living God for asserting and proclaiming HIS name like he did during the days of ELIJAH! Praaaaaaaaaaise that Lord! Let us all submit to God today as he is the only one that can do all things!
