I feel very sorry for those who are making a great deal of effort at tainting everyone around the President. It's a case of, "We are filthy and rotten, we must wrestle you till some of our filth rub off on you." If it doesn't fit, It won't stick!

They started with President Buhari himself. Lies upon lies where cooked up about his person. How, years ago, he misappropriated funds while serving at the Petroleum Trust Fund. That fell on its face. Flat on its face. Years ago, it was thoroughly investigated and found to be untrue. TOTALLY UNTRUE.

They moved on to President Buhari's religion. They have mapped out the plan of how Pres. Muhammadu Buhari planned to Islamise Nigeria, just that he was not part of the arrangement. Only those with no common sense and some mischievous intents, believe the trash. It did not matter that Ex-Pres. Jonathan was a regular at the meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Conference and benefitted financially from the Islamic organisation, while making policy statements in churches.

Nigeria is a nation and has no religion. Only individuals have religious leanings. If it's difficult or even impossible for a Christian to be convinced to abandon his or her Christian Denomination for another Christian denomination, how can Pres. Buhari convince Christians to all become Moslems? Only those who have poached eggs for brains would believe and parade such utter nonsense.

Since the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and subsequent judgment on their sin, there has never been a day of good news of joy for the world as the day Jesus was born. It was the most joyful news the world has ever heard. As a result of the sin of Adam and Eve, man had been separated from the presence of holy God. Sin separates man from God, because God is totally holy, He has purer eyes which cannot behold sin (Hab 1:13). That was why He drove Adam and Eve from the Garden of blessing and pleasures originally prepared for man at creation. And at the time of the judgment of the sins of Adam and Eve, man was cursed. Sin always brings a curse on the sinner (see Gen 3:17-19). In spite of the mess that Adam made, God did not give up on man because of His love. He promised to send a redeemer who would come to save man from sin so that man may be restored to God (see Gen. 3:15).

I presume the later more especially than the former being a civilian. Just recently Sheriff after meeting president Goodluck said: “I’m not a security man. Whatever that as civilian, I can do using my position as the chief executive of the state for eight years and what I have seen during my tenure, I will contribute to the security agencies through whom I got those information" Daily Trust 16th august 2014.

It's no secret that the security agencies have committed atrocities in Borno which they deny, so since Modu gets his information from them not directly from his kinsmen it's no surprise that what ever ambition he dreams of getting from collaborating with people annihilating his own clan and brothers will becloud his reasoning.
For these young immature suddenly rich politicians, it's easy to sway them with the fantasy of being aided to be the next president or next that. With them the lack of the intellectual capacity to know the contraptions of power struggle is legendary.

VOODOISM, LIVING GOD AND POLITICS - LESSONS DERIVABLE FROM EKITI GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION

The Governorship election in Ekiti has come and gone, result is already known, victory conceded and I have congratulated the winner, stake holders and all dramatic personae that took part in the election.

I wish to make this post to point our attention to the place of vodooism (jujuism) and prayer to the Almighty (The living God) and which one is more potent out of the two. I uploaded two pictures showing the two families that contested the election for illustration and to drive home my points as I do not intend to insult outgoing Governor Fayemi who earned my respect for his brave action of accepting defeat even when his Party had already made statement rejecting the outcome of the election and when Nasir El-Rufai was already ranting about Ekiti Election he knew nothing about.

While the outgoing governor with his wife were pursuing the election with vodooism and jujuism, the incoming governor with his wife were pursuing the seat with fasting and prayer to the living God.

CAN releases 180 names of abducted girls, demands N50m as damages for each girl

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Sunday, released the names of the abducted female students in Chibok by the Book Haram Sect.

The National Christian Body, consequently, demanded N50m as damages as well as overseas scholarship, for each girl from the federal government.

A Statement signed by the President/Founder of Old Time Revival Hour, Kaduna & immediate-past chairman of Northern States Christian and Elders Forum (NOCSEF), an affiliate of CAN, Evangelist Matthew Owojaiye gave reason for the attack on Chibok girls’ high school.

“Chibok Local Government is 90% Christians. Majority of the girls abducted are Christian! Why did Boko Haram visit Chibok Local Government? Why didn’t they visit so many other Local Government Girls Secondary Schools in Borno State?”
While demanding for those girls in Senior Secondary School, SSS, one and two to be transfered to schools of their choice, CAN called on faithful across the country to pray for their release.

Owojaiye said for “Daughters of Zion taken captive, to be treated as slaves and sold into marriage to unclean people. Abomination has been committed.

“​Raise lamentation to High Heavens. What a shame on the Church of the Living God.

“The Church in Nigeria is hereby called to A Lamentation Prayer.

“Every Christian home must raise a lamentation to heaven daily. Let God arise and defend his Name, Honour and Majesty.

Exclusive: Nigerian Girls 'alive' and Deal is 'within reach'

A hostage negotiator in direct contact with the kidnappers of more than 200 schoolgirls in Nigeria tells Channel 4 News their safe release is "within reach", but that their fate rests on a knife-edge.

"The girls, we believe, are alive but they have been moved from the location to which they were originally taken," the intermediary told Channel 4 News. "It would not be hard to engineer a deal. It looks like they want to release them."

The kidnappers have warned, however, that attempts by the military to launch a rescue attempt "may result in the deaths of many of the captives".

"They want a way out," said the negotiator, who has long experience of dealing directly with the Islamist group Boko Haram in previous hostage crises.
