The members said they have realized that the charges against them are frivolous and unfounded. I suggest that the Federal government should immediately unfreeze all the bank accounts operated by the state government to prevent causing hardship for the people of Adamawa.
The decision by the lawmakers to withdraw their signatures, according to a source, was arrived after a meeting with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in Abuja. 13 out of the 19 lawmakers who appended their signatures on the notice have written withdrawing their signatures.
