NIGERIAN TROOPS RESCUE ANOTHER CHIBOK SCHOOL GIRL SERAH LUKA

At about 11.00am on Thursday, 19th May 2016, troops of 231 Battalion, 331 Artillery Regiment (AR), Detachment of Armed Forces Special Forces (AFSF) 2, Explosive Ordinance (EOD) Team and Civilian Vigilante group of Buratai, conducted clearance operations at Shettima Aboh, Hong and Biladdili general area in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.

Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman confirmed that during the operations, the troops killed 35 Boko Haram terrorists and recovered several arms and ammunitions and other items.


"In addition, they rescued 97 women and children held captives by the Boko Haram terrorists. We are glad to state that among those rescued is a girl believed to be one of the Chibok Government Secondary School girls that were abducted on 14th April 2014 by the Boko Haram terrorists."

Rescued Chiboki Girl Amina Ali Nkeki was today accompanied to the State House by her mother, Binta, and her brother, Inua. Three weeks ago, on April 28, 2016, the Nigerian military launched 'Operation Crackdown', aimed at clearing Sambisa Forest of Boko Haram terrorists, in continuation of the Operation, troops of 25 Brigade Damboa in conjunction with Civilian JTF deployed in one of the blocking positions at Baale, near Damboa rescued one Miss Amina Ali and a suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Mohammed Hayatu, who claimed to be her husband. Both were brought to Headquarters 25 Task Force Brigade Damboa at about 2.30pm yesterdday 18th May 2016.






Amina Ali Nkeki is one of the Chibok School girls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists on 14th April 2014 in Chibok, Borno state.

Chibok: US Samantha Meets #BringBackOurGirls(BBOG) group

United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power during her visit to the #BringBackOurGirls, group in Abuja and expresses the support of the US and UN towards all efforts to bring back the Chibok School Girls kidnapped byy the Boko Haram terrorists in the Nigeria's Noth East.

Using the opportunity, the Chibok community called on the world leaders to help in rescue of their 219 girls who were abducted by the Boko Haram sect when they had gone in search of education.

Speaking during the visit of  MrsPower, the #BringBackOurGirls(BBOG) group chairman of Chibok community in Abuja, Tsambido Hosea-Abana stated that collaboration between the Nigerian government and other countries like the US will help bring the abducted girls back.

Why Buhari’s government lacks credible intelligence to rescue abducted Chibok girls – BBOG Campaigner

President Muhammadu Buhari has retraited his commitment to the rescue of the Chibok Schooll Girls abducted by the Boko Haram Terrorist.  But the Co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls, BBOG, group, Aisha Yesufu, has accused the Federal Government of lacking credible intelligence in its effort to rescue the abducted girls.

While the Nigeria's Senate has summon the the service chiefs, House of Rep. want the Presidency to issue an ultimatum and deadline for the rescue of the kidnapped girls.

Photos Of Abducted Chibok School Girls Revealed

 These are the names and faces of some of the more than 200 Chibok school girls who were abducted from their school about eight weeks ago by the Islamist Boko Haram gunmen.

Presidential Fact - Finding Committee while reporting to President Goodluck Jonathan said that there are still 219 students in the arms of their Boko Haram abductors.


Dailymail.co.uk who published the pictures this morning said the community leader and the girls’ families have given permission for their names and photographs to be put into the public domain so the world will be reminded of the missing girls. The government is yet to rescue any of the girls ever since they were adopted eight weeks ago.

US, UK specialist team in Maiduguri, set to start search for missing Chibok girls

Among the many world powers that indicate interest and support to join Nigeria in the search and rescue operations to free the Boko Haram Abducted Chibok School Girls in Borno state are US, UK, Canada France and China. United States military officials are arriving Nigeria Friday to join local officials in the search for over 200 school girls taken captive by the Islamist Terrorists.

US Secretary of State John Kerry, and the defence department, Pentagon, confirmed the deployment of their special forces for the search operations in Nigeria. “Our interagency team is landing the ground in Nigeria now and they are going to be working … with President Goodluck Jonathan’s government to do everything that we possibly can to return these girls.” Kerry said.

U.K, China to deploy advanced tracking technologies in the rescue of Chibok girls - Abati

As the search and rescue operations to rescue the kidnapped students of Government secondary School Girls in Chibok, Borno state continue. President Goodluck Jonathan has requested and received the assistance of British government in term of the deployment of an advance tracking technologies for the operation.
According to Dr. Reuben Abati, who is the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, President Jonathan spoke with the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, on the phone after meeting with Premier Li Keqiang of China, who is on an official visit to Nigeria, “asked and received a promise of the deployment of British Satellite Imaging capabilities and other advanced tracking technologies in support of the ongoing effort of the federal government”.
Abati said, “The President thanked Mr. Cameron, the British Government and people for their concern over the fate of the abducted girls and their willingness to provide concrete assistance to save the girls from the terrorists who seized them from their school.

Boko Haram: Murtala Nyako, Ibrahim Gaidam blast Edwin Clark, Akpabio

Following the call for a full scale state of emergency declaration which will replace the Governors of the affected states in the North-east with sole administrator by the an Ijew National Leder,  dwin Clark, the Governors of Adamawa and Yobe state, Murtala Nyako and Ibrahim Gaidam, on Sunday expressed their displeasure over such a call by Clark.

The three North Eastern states of Adamawa, Yobe and Borno have been under emergency rule declared by President Goodluck Jonathan since May 2013 with the democratic structures in the state remaining despite the emergency rule. But Mr. Clark has asked President Jonathan to heed his advice and appoint the sole administrators with immediate effect.

As a result of the called by Clark, Messrs Nyako and Gaidam issued a joint press statement through their respective spokesmen, Ahmad Sajoh and Abdullahi Bego, blasted him for liken the security situation in Yobe, Borno and Adamawa States with the situation in Ekiti state when an emergency rule was declared in that state during a previous administration.”
