US, UK specialist team in Maiduguri, set to start search for missing Chibok girls

Among the many world powers that indicate interest and support to join Nigeria in the search and rescue operations to free the Boko Haram Abducted Chibok School Girls in Borno state are US, UK, Canada France and China. United States military officials are arriving Nigeria Friday to join local officials in the search for over 200 school girls taken captive by the Islamist Terrorists.

US Secretary of State John Kerry, and the defence department, Pentagon, confirmed the deployment of their special forces for the search operations in Nigeria. “Our interagency team is landing the ground in Nigeria now and they are going to be working … with President Goodluck Jonathan’s government to do everything that we possibly can to return these girls.” Kerry said.
The U.S. Navy Rear Admiral, John Kirby, who is the Pentagon press secretary told the CNN that a small US team of seven will immediately join local efforts to free the school girls abducted over three weeks ago by the Al-Quada linked group. "They would do everything possible as they will be working with the Nigerian President to save the girls and possibly stop the activities of Boko Haram insurgents.

According to Kerry, “We are also going to do everything possible to counter the menace of Boko Haram,” Mr. Kerry said. “The entire world should not only be condemning this outrage but should be doing everything possible to help Nigeria in the days ahead.”

He added that America is not sending combatant troops into Nigeria.

The Nigerian President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has reiterated that the abduction of the Chibok School Girls will be “the beginning of end” of Boko Haram war in Nigeria.

The Islamist Fighters has never ceased their attacks Since Abuja Bombing and abduction of the over 200 school girls in Borno state. They have carried out more attacks and killed hundreds of defenceless citizens in in parts of Borno and between Nigeria - Cameroon border villages.

Wile France offered to station its 3,000 troops in Nigeria’s neighbouring countries to help fight the insurgents in the region, British satellites and advanced tracking capabilities also will be used, and China has promised to provide any intelligence gathered by its satellite network to enable Nigeria conquer the Terrorists.
