Way forward for Nigeria: Let us go back to our old regional Rule -

In my previous write up for a New Nigeria. I have asked this big question; Are we not better to back to regional rule? Our colonial master United Kingdom is working from the bases of different cultures within United Kingdom -Wales has their assembly, Scottish has their assembly. And they all send their reps to the House of parliament in London.

We have taken to presidential system that does not work in our country Nigeria due to the fact that we are so corrupts from bottom to the top and power is centralized in Abuja. The economy cannot contain the amount of money our leaders is spending monthly, wasted projects that does not help the masses. Many other factors that we know that cannot work if the power is put on corrupt leaders that are greedy and ready to use you and drop you like wasted tissue.
Our other problem is recycled politicians and greedy followers. If we should look into the major political parties in Nigeria, They are full of corrupt leaders and we ourselves are corrupt as we buy into their unworkable promises. The citizens of Nigeria are lost and do not TRUST any new group that are coming up with new ideas. We are not ready to put our resources to help these new groups that are trying to change things in Nigeria.

Imagine. If we have five regional assemblies in Nigeria. Cutting down on the billion of money spent in maintaining our reps in Abuja. The advantages will be  greater than what we have now.

Merging our political parties into 5 political parties in other to stop those parties that come out every 4 years to collect money for election.

We set a new five years terms rules for our politicians instead of the four years term rule that we are having at the moment. (Local, State & Federal Govt). This should give the winning party to complete all their promises to its citizens.

Re-generation development for all Nigerians -Getting to the grassroots Nigerians. The Federal government funding should be paid directly to the Local Government. Empowering the youths in every assembly created

Be aware!
Those calling for a break away from Nigeria –Odua Nation, Biafra Nation, etc. etc. We all need to think about the countries that have done this. They are facing more trouble than before the breakaway – This is because of bad leadership, greediness of their leaders and lack of vision. As they have hidden agenda.

Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain. My Fellow Nigerians Please have a rethink about the above issues. God bless every new thinker of a new Nigeria.
