With the the fame of the town (Chibo), President Goodluck Jonathan deserveed to be there, though the hopes of the Chibok girls are still unknown and very uncertain in the hand of their Boko Haram abductors who are currently abusing them sexually and rapping them of their future too. Action and inaction of the presidency and the click of cultist ruling class of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is what Nigerians are paying for on daily basis.
Just as Russian President Putin visited the Crimean people, Mr. Jonathan will have to visit Chibok because the town is now more popular than Ukraine's Crimea Peninsula, Syria's Aleppo, CAR, etc and thereafter jet out to Paris in France. With all the security allocations in our yearly Budgets, I don't agree with Mr. President and our security agencies that crippling the Boko Haram and taken over the Sambisa Forest should be a matter of possible impossibility.
The soldiers were alerted before and during the abductions of the Chibok Schoolgirls plus the fact that Borno state and others are under the state of emergency rule declared by President Jonathan himself, who is the Commander in Chief or in-charge of the affairs of the concerned areas, yet Mr. President can't within a period of two weeks confirmed and ascertained the authenticity of the abduction but instead set up a fact finding committee to confirm either they were actually abducted or not.
Time without number, I have been predicting it that Boko Haram are wining because our government is incapable of countering the Boko Haram insurgents as they are more determined to force Nigeria state down on her knees.
As the commander in chief of Nigeria army forces, Mr. Jonathan and his cronies sitting down carelessly and unconcerned in Abuja, the soldiers in North-east states are with very low morale and disloyalty of highest order in the history of our country, Sambisa Forest has become the dreaded zone where Boko Haram hid to maintain their supremacy within the territorial integrity of Nigeria.
Even with the foreign assistants, there are premonitions that we are still not coming out of the Boko Haram mess but on a highway to Kigali and or Mogadishu as the Harmless people were even able to repel and foiled Boko Haram attacks on them, while our soldiers are daily running into their ambush with many casualty recorded each time they entered the Boko Haram Traps.
The Bitter Truth: With this kind of Jonathan Leadership style, we should be expecting more attacks and more arm groups against the Nigeria state.
