How are we sure his not related to one of the kids? How are we sure one of the kids are not trying to be rude to their uncle, etc? Jungle justice is unfair. He may have died for a mere suspicion like the case of an Evangelist who nearly got killed at Osun State (reported in Punch Newspapers on Wednesday), on mere suspicious statements.
The other lady reported in the story to have kept two dead kids in her vehicle (reported by the mob), which led to her burnt alive, was later discovered to be untrue. She died for nothing. She died for owning a car key while been accused by a mother for dragging her child along the road.
No witness collaborated the mother's claims, yet this woman was killed in the name of kidnapper. Nigeria and Nigerians must stop senseless killings of suspects as they usually turn to be innocent, though with slim cases of sane persons disguising as insane fella.
We never can tell the shock of individuals accused, abused and burnt innocently, until a close pal related it in graphics. Unfortunately, Nigerians are not seeing this as a major issue at the present.
