Chibok mother identifies her daughter on Boko Haram video

Reuters reports that a school leader on telephone, Tuesday said one of the mothers of the kidnapped schoolgirls in Chibo, Borno state has identified her daughter in the new video released by the Boko Haram abductors.

Mr. Dumoma Mpur, who is the chairman of the parent teachers association at Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, confirmed that one mother who watch the video on Monday evening spotted her daughter among dozens of girls sitting on the ground and wearing veils.

The Boko Haram leader said the girls would only be released on the condition that the Federal Government will free all the their members taken prisoners by the security agencies. Human right activists have warned the government not to buy their ideas
