N5.9Million Bribe : AVM Alkali Manu granted N50 million Bail, Fintiri Granted N500 Million bail

Justice S. Garba of the FCT High Court today granted bail in the sum of N50million to a former Air Officer Commanding Training and a member of the Committee for Procurement of the Ministry of Defence, AVM Alkali Manu who is being prosecuted by the EFCC over N5.9 Million bribe from contractors with the Nigerian Airforce. Other bail condition include one surety in like sum.

AND ON N2. 9 BILLION FRAUD: Umaru Fintiri Granted N500 Million bail. Umaru Fintiri, former governor of Adamawa State, who was remanded in prison custody yesterday by Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the FCT High Court, has been granted bail. 

Fintiri is being prosecuted by the EFCC on a five count charge of money laundering to the tune of N2. 9 billion. 

The bail conditions include: N500 million with two sureties in like sum. He is also to submit his international passport. 

The judge however asked that he remain in prison custody pending satisfaction of bail conditions.
