And You Call Them Innocent: Again, Metuh Offers to Refund N400 Million

So The reports says the immediate past spokesperson of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olisa Metuh, has again offered to refund to the Nigerian government, the N400 million he received from the office of the National Security Adviser in the build up to the 2015 general election.

Mr. Metuh, who is facing trial at the Federal High, had said he did not know that the money given to him by the ONSA, when Sambo Dasuki was NSA, was meant for arms procurement. He said former President Goodluck Jonathan gave him an assignment and ordered for the release of the funds to him.

And do we now called them (all Looters) innocent? Yeah, right! Metuh innocently stole N400 Million that belongs to about 175 million Nigerian, because there was free money flying around Nigeria and now he is innocently returning the N400 Million he stole. In Stan's world, all you need to do is innocently steal some money in Nigeria and you can innocently return the money until you're proven guilty.
Like I always say, the EFCC must ensure that all the stolen monies are retrieved from these thieves and looters through a method of Sleeplessness and Waterboarding, prosecute them and sent them to prison. It's that simple. Corruption must be stamped out any means possible.

President Jonathan undermined the EFCC and state security services and used them for his bidding. Let's make EFCC truly independent so they can prosecute our friends and enemies with equal measure.

I am convinced Nigerians must each personally join the fight against both corruption and impunity, two evils that have brought the nation and her patriotic citizens to near obliteration. Corruption is a great cancer that has brought us so low in human development indices. But if anything, impunity not only feeds that cancer but has ensured the malaise will not respond to treatment, if treated at all.

Air Marshal Amosun has billions of your money. Adigun reportedly has N13 billion worth of assets, all from your patrimony and mine. Mr. Ihejirika whom we have not heard much about in recent times is reputed to be the fattest ex-general yam eater our nation has ever known. Witnesses say all past chiefs of the air-force makes and or corruptly diverts N558 million meant for the troops every month. That's nearly N7 billion a year, corruptly denied our gallant men and women whose lives and limbs are daily lost due to lack of the kits of war. We know of how several of our ill-maintained and disused fighter jets simply dropped from the sky with the loss of highly and expensively trained pilots. Yesterday, Professor Pius Adesanmi rained curses on the sub-human species and I couldn't agree any less. It is time ordinary Nigerians join this fight if they want to be free. I have shouted and written but I am not tired. I am with the Nigerian masses on this one, not out of malice but of principle. My system and belief system simply revolts at the level of official and elite brigandage that our country has endured. To do nothing, accepting fate and enduring the hardship should no longer be an option.

Dasukigate is but one of the manifestations of the affliction of greed by the men you voted in to protect you and build our nation. Elite greed has no colour, no tribe, no religion. Olisa Metuh is Christian, Dokpesi is a high chief and Batafarawa is moslem. They never fought over the "yam" on the basis of geography or who should be classified as a kafir. They simply shared, cleansed mouth, and started foraging for more yams. Etete gave himself oil block, earned a billion dollars but he accommodated Adoke in his loot including the heroic Fortunatus. Their backyard in Rivers and Bayelsa has almost no roads and no electricity. Those who carried "Live Diezani Alone" placards have never seen Abuja streetlights before talk less of walking through the marble floors of the bullet proof gym inside her $18 million Abuja home. You are the deprived one, busy defending the "brother" and the "sister" of yours who himself/herself didn’t know you exist or care if you die from guinea worm infection or from treatable malaria. The money that would have equipped the hospital to treat you has been shared or diverted to campaign funding.

If you think it's all happening in Abuja and in the security sector you are mistaken. Closer home from Abia State to Zamfara, governors are milking you dry, holding back your salaries while funding new airports and other white elephant projects their states neither needs nor can afford. Their wives are going to Dubai fortnightly and their girlfriends riding Range Rovers with all kids schooling abroad. The national assembly isn't excluded. The group that represents the worst we can assemble are the jesters pretending to be lawmakers but are actually lawbreakers, sexual predators and money launderers. They are not there to represent you but to rape you. Not done with being supplied innocent girls in Abuja, three house of representative members recently visited the USA to replay their rapist tendencies. If you still hear this tape and wake up tomorrow defending your oppressors and asking that corruption war must start with digging Herbert Macauley from his grave, you are the one who put the chain on by yourself. I guess those who desire progress can leave you behind.
