The just concluded gubernatorial election in Ekiti is one of the worst conducted in Nigeria history. Though the urbane and peace loving incumbent governor Kayode Fayemi has congratulated Fayose for the undeserved victory, the saturday June 21 election is not free, fair and credible. Many social network activist may believe otherwise, forgetting unsavoury events towards the election. What is free in an election in which votes were bought with money, in which the so called winner and his agents including the Minister of defence paid #3000 - #5000 to be voted for. You called an election in which the labour party candidate Bamidele Opeyemi was paid billions of naira to ask his supporters to vote for Fayose overnight?
