PMB sacks Chief Security Details with immediate effect

President Muhammad Buhari has sacked his Chief Security Details, Abdulrahman Mani, with immediate effect. He has been replaced with Abubakar Bashir Usman.

Mani was said to have prevented many people who genuinely needed to meet the president, from meeting him. He is also being linked with the leakage of President Buhari’s journey to the United Kingdom, days before his inauguration, to the former oil minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

Alison-Madueke suddenly emerged in the first class compartment of the British Airways flight, and booked a seat, right behind Buhari.
According to TheCable, Mani was appointed Buhari’s CSO after the presidential election in March, although he had been organising security for Buhari since 2011.

Some folks who doesnt know will argue that Abdurahman Mani is the Chief Security Officer whereas he is only a Chief Security Detail(CSD) on secondment from DSS to follow the principal everywhere
The Chief Security Officer is meant to be heard and not seen but Abdurahman Mani because he is always behind the principal thinks he can usurp another man's role,it was reported that he is the one who plant the stories in the media that he is the Chief Security Officer when its obvious that he lacks the experience and temperament to lead such a serious task
Anyway I dont know how he is meant to lead the security team of Mr President when all DSS Operatives under him were withdrawn from the Villa and elite team of guards trained by Alhaji Maikano(AAM) are the ones manning all security posts.
Abdulahi Abubakar Maikano as the CSO for many years now for Mr President does 90% of all the security work leaving 10% for the principal to approve,he is a man of few words and highly experienced reason we dont hear his name all over the place.He was a CSO in the same Villa 20 years ago and that is not a joke.
Thank God the right man AAM will soon be announced just like we are eagerly awaiting the announcement of Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary,all from Lobito Crescent,actually we already celebrated their appointment in the office 3 weeks back,just waiting for official announcement from the Villa

Buhari also reportedly sacked Widi Liman, his administrative officer, who was said to be hand-in-gloves with Mani in turning securing appointments with the president into a “business venture”.

Mani has been redeployed to Ebonyi State. Abubakar was until now an assistant director in the Bayelsa State Command of the Department of State Service (DSS)
