$40million Fraud :Court Strikes Out Azibola Suit Against EFCC

Justice Candid Johnson of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Igbosere yesterday, June 21, 2016, struck out a motion filed against the EFCC by Azibola Robert, a cousin of the former President Goodluck Jonathan, asking the court to restrain the Commission from arresting, detaining or investigating him.

The motion was struck out on grounds of lacking diligent prosecution.

In the motion, Azibola requested for an order nullifying and setting aside the remand order obtained by the EFCC to remand him, an order directing the Commission to release him from custody, an order of perpetual injunction restraining the EFCC or any person whatsoever acting for/on behalf of the Commission from arresting or detaining him and demand of special damages in the sum of N200, 000,000 (Two Hundred Million Naira Only).

More havoc as Niger Delta Militants blow up Agip and Shell Trunk Line

At About 2:15am on Saturday the Niger Delta avengers blew up Nembe 1, 2 and 3 Brass to Bonny Trunk Line belonging to Agip and Shell.

This was revealed via their twitter handle @NDAvengers

Still not satisfied with the damage, the Niger Delta Avengers have issued fresh threats.

EFCC Grip Jonathan's former aide Waripamowei Dudafa at Lagos Airport over his alleged involvement in $2.1bn arms deal fraud

The EFCC has arrested the former Senior Special Assistant to former President Jonathan on Domestic Matters, Waripamowei Dudafa, over his allegedly involvement in the $2.1 billion arms deal fraud. 

Economic and Financial Crime Commission sources say Waripamowei was arrested yesterday Monday April 18th while attempting to board a flight at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos.

He has been implicated in the ongoing $2.1 billion arms deal scandal in the office of the former National Security Adviser (NSA) retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki.

Dufada was reported to have involved in the sharing of N10billion taken from the office of the former NSA and shared to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegates during the 2015 general elections.
