I will briefly outline how the appointment into six major positions were shared in the past and what obtains today and what can be done to ameliorate rising restiveness in some parts of the country

MUHAMMADU BUHARI URGES WORLD LEADERS TO DISMANTLE SAFE HAVENS FOR PROCEEDS OF CORRUPTION
President Muhammadu Buhari Monday in New York called on the international community to urgently redouble its efforts to strengthen mechanisms for dismantling safe havens for proceeds of corruption.
Addressing world leaders at the 70th General Assembly of the United Nations, President Buhari also urged his counterparts to do more to return stolen funds and assets to their countries of origin.
Observing that corruption, cross-border financial crimes, cyber crimes and human trafficking are major challenges of the 21st century which the international community must work collectively to overcome, President Buhari reaffirmed his administration's determination to frontally confront the twin evils of corruption and illicit financial outflows.

Nigeria, Namibia signed 11 agreements: Extradition treaty, visa waiver for diplomatic & official passports
Nigeria and Namibia signed 11 agreements which includes Extradition treaty, visa waiver for diplomatic and official passports.
The bilateral meeting between the two country covers immigration, trade, mining, justice, health, tourism, youth developments among others.
President Jonathan also had a meeting yesterday with the Nigerian community in Windhoek, Namibia.

FG Hosts UN Human Rights Chief Navi Pillay On Four-day Visit
U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay has arrived here for a four-day official visit on the invitation of the Nigerian Federal Government.
A statement from Kelechi Onyemaobi, a UN Development Programme (UNDP) communications specialist, said Pillay, who arrived here Tuesday, would have discussions with members of the government and civil society on the promotion and protection of human rights at the highest levels.
"It is the first such visit to Nigeria by any UN High Commissioner for Human Rights since the office was created 20 years ago. During her visit, Pillay plans to meet President Goodluck Jonathan as well as the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Justice and Women Affairs and Social Development.
