I will briefly outline how the appointment into six major positions were shared in the past and what obtains today and what can be done to ameliorate rising restiveness in some parts of the country

Anyim Pius Anyim On His Way Home As Soon As President Jonathan Returns From Brussel

There are strong indications in the presidency last night that the Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan may sack the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim as soon as he returns from his Africa-EU summits in Brussels, Belgium. 

Sources confirmed  that  the SGF issue has been on the table of Mr. President for quite very long . 

Sources added that his possible replacement are between the trio of Presidential Adviser on Inter-Party Relations and former Senator, Chief Ben Obi, former Senate President, Dr. Ken Nnamani and former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi.

The former senate president was fully aware of the move and intention of president Jonathan to sack him. Sources added that he has since being making some move to re secure his Job and his position with the president.

His sacking seems inevitable base on the reasons alluded for his removal. He was grossly alleged of not effectively coordinating activities in the presidency as Head of its secretariat. Our source further confirmed that with 2015 elections drawing close, president Jonathan needs an SGF who will rally the support of Ibos peoples and other Nigerians for his re-election, stressing that, that informed the new choices to either go for Ben Obi (whose nomination is being backed by the Minister of Defence, Gen. Aliyu Gusau, Ken Nnamani or Peter Obi.
