From the interview granted by students and some indigenous offa residents living around the campus, it was revealed that this is the way the Polytechnic environment is left in acute DARKNESS anytime from 7:30pm everyday.

Our hearts bleeds more when we hear the institution is a federal owned citadel. With the amount of billions generated from students annually in the name of frivolous charges by this institutions, the management couldn't not afford diesel to light up the school environment everyday for the benefit of the students and the community.

FG To Make Key Festivals Attractive To Domestic, Foreign Tourists - Lai

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has said the Federal Government is working with the private sector to make major festivals in the country attractive to domestic and foreign tourists and to leapfrog the events to the top cadre of global festivals.

He made the disclosure in Offa, Kwara State, on Thursday at the 2016 edition of the ''Íjakadi Festival'', a traditional wrestling event that dates back to the 14th century.

The Minister, who was represented by Mr. Raphael Arulogun, General Manager of NTA Ilorin, said the starting point is to train the managers of the festivals, which include the Ijakadi Festival

Infact, we arrived Offa Descendant Union (ODU) Hall venue of the event as early as possible in order to formalise the necessary details that will admit us into the inner room of the event.
