Good day our esteemed compatriots. The new year festivities are long over and we now even at the 2nd month of the year (February) and fast counting! Waooo!!! That is simply how time flies! It slowly ticks away as if it is inconsequential. But, the reality is, with each inconsequential ticking of that clock, we are growing older! JUST IMAGINE!!! That small boy born sometimes in the 70's, has now clocked 40 something! That small boy born in the early 80's, is now trending the way to 40 years! 

Those small boys of yester years, are now fathers having children they are catering for! The reality is, if we do not make adequate use of the available time at our disposal, time will invariably make use of us by taking away our youthfulness, strength, beauty and sharpness! Just like that Hymn that Christian fellows usually sing at Church. "Fading away like the stars in the morning". Time makes us to fade away! The youths by which implies those of us born between 1970 to 1999, we have never had the opportunity that those ahead of us had! The Nationalist by which we are referring to the likes of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo, Alhaji Ahmadu Bello, Dr. Akanu Ibiam, Chief Anthony Enahoro and the likes, were leaders who wanted the very best for the children coming after them. This fact was reflected in the kind of policies they made and projects they implemented.

It also witness God’s wonder performed in pulling the Israelites out of Egypt, including practically dividing the red sea to allow their passage and causing it to swallow the pursuing Egyptian soldiers. Tragedically, Israelites still display faithfulnesses in their God who had performed this great wonders.

This historical bible event can be likely compared nowadays to the Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola led government regime. From the inception of his governance, the people of the state of Osun has witness so many dividends of democracy delivered which can be felt and seen in the nooks and crannies of the state. Apart from the different life changing youth empowerment scheme, educational revival/resuscitation in the state, increase in health delivery, gender/religion equity, there has been a unique massive road construction in the state in which its advantages cannot be overlooked.

Aregbesola Commissions Ayegbaju Ultra Modern Market

Osun state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has commissioned the Ayegbaju International Modern Market. The market, situated in the heart of Osogbo town, the state capital, sits on a 8-hectare piece of land and is estimated to have gulped about 2.3 billion Naira.
Inspite of the heavy downpour on Monday, Traditional Rulers, Market Men and Women, clerics and residents of Osogbo Town all sat under a tent to celebrate the commissioning of the market.

Aregbesola's second term bid received a big boost today, as the the Ataoja of Osogbo, HRH Oba Jimoh Olanipekun led the sons and daughters of Osogbo land to the popular Nelson Mandela' Freedom Park in Osogbo to endorse him for second term.

The Royal Highness Ataoja of Osogbo said the outstanding performances of the Governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola , most especially in changing the face of Osogbo, the state capital should earn the incumbent governor of the state an indisputable victory in the next August 9th governorship election.

Former Governor of Osun State, Senator Isiaka Adeleke has finally dumped the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress, APC, today at the Freedom Park in Osogbo , Osun state.

The Former Governor of the state and National interim Chairman of the party, Chief Adebisi Akande and the incumbent governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf adesoji Aregbesola as well as the crowd members of the party welcomed the former Governor Isiaka Adeleke to the fold of the Progressive party called APC.
The immediate pass Governor of the state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola may also join the APC soon.
