Noble Nigerians, I salute Kumalo ‘Sarafina’ who, reminiscing the dark days of Apartheid in South Africa, said: Freedom Is Coming Tomorrow. True, Nigeria is in a quandary of abyssal descent. Yet, I say hope; freedom is coming tomorrow.
Yes, the camarilla at independence: stunted by incompetence and debauchery, derailed by despicable power games and proclivity to acquisitiveness, was unwilling, if not incompetent of saving our fledgling new nation. Nigeria was mutilated on the altar of cupidity and egocentricity.
Yet I say: freedom is coming tomorrow.
The Nigerian military and select few won a glorious Civil War victory of oil wells and oil blocks for themselves and a pyrrhic victory of poverty for the Nigerian people.
Albeit, I say: our freedom is coming tomorrow.

NIGERIA 56TH FREEDOM FÊTE
"You can't get rich in politics unless you're a crook". Harry Truman
Nigeria celebrated its 56th Independence birthday, October 1, 2016, free of viable shackles from the British Colonial Administration, with the FREEDOM not to be accountable and being opaque in its governance, steal, alter Justice to the convenience of the almighty tin-god JUDGES, making laws to favor fewer privileged individuals, FREEDOM to expand their empires with the country's resources, FREEDOM to be above the law of the land, where Judges will be arrested and a section of the clown in the community would raise hell not to go the way that Ghana cleansed the Judiciary where over 30 judges were arrested and dismissed for corruption; opposite what goes on in Nigeria where a telephone thief would go to jail while the Judges would turn the other way for the 'barons' of stealing club who stole billions of Naira from the public treasury.
The FREEDOM of believing cheaters sugar-coated tongues, to the invisible homemade shackles of progress, for the blinded followership, with the FREEDOM from being accountable and transparent in disbursing Nigerian resources to their fellow national treasury looters and making their personal 'Treasuries' fatter than the country's treasury.

THEME: FREEDOM
MEMORY VERSE: John 8:32
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
READ: JOHN 8:31-36
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Why Nigerian military blocks newspapers distribution in Abuja, Lagos
The Nigerian military on Saturday continued its onslaught on newspapers by sealing off the popular major distribution depot in the Area 1 District of Abuja, from where all newspapers are distributed to agents and vendors across the Nigerian capital. Witnesses said soldiers in about seven trucks laid siege on the distribution point, preventing any kind of newspaper circulation from taking place.
The military attack on Nigerian newspapers commenced on Friday with soldiers confiscating thousands of Nigerian newspapers including Leadership, The Nation, and Punch newspapers.
Media houses promptly devised an alternate and secret means to ensure their papers get to the public in the Nigerian capital promptly; a reminder of the days of military dictatorship.
