I THOUGHT SARAKI WAS EVEN BRILLIANT

Senator Bukola Saraki
Imagine this, Bukola Saraki was asked: are you guilty or not? And the schemer answered: I am the Senate President.

Abeg my people, if your student gave that answer to that question, is s(he) correct? Obviously not.

And you wonder why the Senate have spent over 100 days without passing a single law. The marauder and his cohorts are not intelligent enough to think about the needs of the people. They think that their stupid ego and criminal machinations at getting offices are more important to the people.

You can understand that for him its about being a Senate President. He has become so obsessed with it that he lost his sense of reasoning. He can no longer answer a simple logical question correctly. He is not guided by national interest but that obsessive selfish interest. The only thing his schemer brain recognizes is Senate President. He has become so a pedestrian character who can no longer see beyond his nose. He cannot even remember that Nigeria has produced so many Senate Presidents who eventually left the office and some that died on seat. He has failed to recognize that there is life after Senate Presidency and  beyond.
Unfortunately, as it stands today, Saraki has no record for which history will remember him for good. He has no record that generations yet unborn can point to and feel they are blessed to have had him walk their path. A record that will view him in the acclaim with which we view Zik, Tafawa Belewa, Achebe, Enahoro Dora Akunyili, Sam Oparaji, Madam Kuti, Solarin, Gani Fawehmi, Philips Emegwali, Wola Soyinka, Amina of Zaria, and many others dead or alive who have made positive impact on the nation. Saraki's record cannot distance him from likes of Anineh, Oyenusi, Abacha, Deziani, Alams, bank robbers, thieves and others likes.

It is obvious that you can be a good schemer and a dreaded armed robber but not a wise man. Leadership is not a popularity contest, it is about having the ability and the foresight to identify potential needs and challenges of society ahead and finding unique ways to bring solutions. A leader is a path finder and not a pathetic ego tripper and criminal machinator whose history is replete with dishonesty and greedy acquisition.

As the LEGENDARY FELA will say, "carpenter wey no know him work na suwegbe". Likewise, A SENATE PRESIDENT WHO CANNOT ANSWER SIMPLE LOGICAL QUESTION NA SUWEGBE.

IT IS OBVIOUS THAT SOME OF THESE SENATORS ARE NOT MORE BRILLIANT THAN ARMED ROBBERS.

Abeg where is my harmer? 🔨🔨🔨"

By Great Imo Jonathan.
