Despite widespread applause for the recent Ekiti State governorship election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is working hard to make the upcoming Osun State governorship election better, the Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, has said.
He said no effort would be spared to make the Osun election scheduled for August 9, 2014, more qualitative in all aspects than the June 21 Ekiti State election which has been widely acclaimed as the best so far by the Commission. He spoke on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, when the Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China, H. E. Gu Xiaojie, paid a courtesy visit to the Commission.

We Have Resources to Care for All and Sundry; Poverty and Uemployment Rooted in Corruption - Buhari
The Nigerian Former Head of state and APC National leader, Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has once again said Nigerians has no any reason be hungered or to be unemployed as the Nation has the enormous resources to care for all and sundry, irrespective of an individual status.
Gen. Buhari made the assertions to his numerous facebook fans today.
On corruptions been the root and genesis of poverty and unemployment, he said such resources are cornered by the few elites in government positions instead of working to achieve the over all social interest of all.

Buhari Sures of APC Ticket; Promises to End Boko Harma and Other Security Challenges if Voted for in 2015 Election
The Former Nigerian Head of State and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Major Gen. Muhammed Buhari yesterday Promises to put an end to activities of Boko Haram Insurgency, Fulani Herdsmen attacks and other long security challenges facing the Nigeria state if elected as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria comes 2015 general election.
Gen. Buhari made the statement in Kaura Local government area yesterday when he paid a condolence visit to the Chief of Maroa, Malam Tagwi Sambo, where hundreds of people where killed by the suspected Fulani Herdsmen.
The Retired General who seems confident of his presidential candidacy ticket of the All Progressive Congress, APC, confidently informs his host and the people of the area that if voted for, he will put a definite end to the incessant killings that are very rampant around the country.
The APC strongman also challenged the Kaduna state government to fist out the attackers and bring them to justice.
Buhari enjoined the residents of Kaura to remain calm and be their brothers’ keeper
In his convoy yesterday are the Former Minister of federal Capital Territory who is also APC National deputy Secretary, Malam Nasiru El-rufai and APC Deputy National Chairman Aminu Bello Masari.
