We Have Resources to Care for All and Sundry; Poverty and Uemployment Rooted in Corruption - Buhari

The Nigerian Former Head of state and APC National leader, Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has once again said Nigerians has no any  reason be hungered or to be unemployed as the Nation has the enormous resources to care for all and sundry, irrespective of an individual status.

Gen. Buhari made the assertions to his numerous facebook fans today.

On  corruptions been the root and genesis of poverty and unemployment, he said such resources are cornered by the few elites in government positions instead of working to achieve the over all social interest of all.

Buhari said we do not need a World Bank report and predictions before coming to term with the reality of poverty and mass impoverishment in the land.

According to the retired Gen. , "I have always maintained that It doesn't have to take a World Bank report to awaken us to this terrible reality of increasing poverty and mass impoverishment."

"Instead of politicizing the issues of poverty and unemployment, the government should accept responsibility and start charting concrete measures towards reversing these horrible trends."

The Retired General said: "No Nigerian deserves to be hungry and extremely lacking in basic necessities of life. We have the resources to ensure that every Nigerian lives a reasonably comfortable life irrespective of his status."

But when such resources are cornered to service the gluttonous consumption of the predatory elite few instead of achieving overall social welfare, then we have to contend with the suicidal tendencies of a hungry and desperate mind. And this is in fact at the root of our intractable security challenges.
