Following the early morning Bomb explosions that rocked Nyanya motor park in Abuja today, with scores reportedly killed in the scene, the Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has cancelled his proposed trip to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. The President who was originally scheduled to attend the centenary birthday service of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Odulana Odugade.
The President has visited the blast scene at Nyanya at about 11am.
While the security level has been raised in the Federal Capital Territory, the four Service Chiefs, and the National Security Adviser are already at the scene of the blast, as president Jonathan has also personally been to the scene and the hospital today.
President Jonathan who extends his heartfelt condolences to bereaved families also directs the medical services to do their very best to save the lives of those injured in Nyanya bombing.
No one can really ascertained the exact number of people that loss their live in today's bomb blast, the the speculation is that more than 200 people died with many injured.
No group is yet to claim responsibility for the attack.
