Fuji House of Commotion producer Amaka Igwe, who is a Popular film producer, writer and director was reportedly died of an asthma attack last night
Igwe who was 60 years old reportedly died a few hours ago after battling with asthma.
She had gone to Enugu in company of her husband for pre-production preparations for a new Igbo soap when she suffered an asthma attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital after initial intervention had failed but sadly died before getting there.
President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima allegedly confirmed this with a ‘Yes” response in a phone call with Best of Nollywood and ended the call abruptly.
Uche jumbo has confirmed it too via a tweet that reads “sad sad sad day, may God console your family, a great filmaker gone”
Her death was said to have been confirmed by the president of Actor Film of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima.
Igwe is survived by her husband, Charles Igwe, three children and an aged mother.
