At Last!! Killer of Major General Mohammed Shuwa Arrested - Army

The ever hardworking military intelligence have grabbed the suspected killer of Major General Mohammed Shuwa (rtd), Commander 3 Brigade paraded him and brief the press in Kano shortly.

Military intelligence arrested the suspected killer of Major General Mohammed Shuwa (rtd).


Mohammed Shuwa was murdered in his residence in Maiduguri, Borno State by suspected Boko Haram sect on November 2, 2012.

The retired military officer was the first General Officer Commanding of the Nigerian Army’s 1st Division.

Army chief: Boko Haram attacks possible in Ogun state

The newly deployed General Officer  Commanding of the 81 division of Nigerian Army, Lagos,  Major-General Tamunomieibi Dibi, yesterday, in Abeokuta, affirmed that Boko Haram insurgency and attacks in the state was possible , urging the Army officers, Ogun State Government and the people of the State not to rule it out.

Dibi made the statement when he  paid a working visit to the 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala, Abeokuta, but opined that the Nigerian Army has what it takes to crush the Islamist insurgency and its attacks.
urging the military officers to be security-conscious and report any security-threatening information to the appropriate quarters for quick and necessary actions, noting that security watch and consciousness should be seen as everybody business.

He declared that the presence of Boko Haram insurgents could not be ruled out in any state, cities, villages and communities in any part of the country, charged army and other security agencies to be watchful and on the alert every time to crush any attacks.
