THE CHIBOK GIRLS - by Redeem Adebayo
In the wake of that unfaithful day,
It all started like child's play,
We are awake daily to shooting
and bombing,
Our dear Nation becomes a battlefield,
Kidnapping and killing was the order,
As we are now prey to the predators,
In silence we pray.
It all started like child's play,
We are awake daily to shooting
and bombing,
Our dear Nation becomes a battlefield,
Kidnapping and killing was the order,
As we are now prey to the predators,
In silence we pray.

Horrible story: How Boko Haram butchered my father and brother - survivor
Deborah Peter, 15, recounted how the Nigerian Islamist group had butchered her father and brother as Congress mulls how to counter the group that has abducted over 200 schoolgirls
Deborah Peter, a 15 year-old Nigerian, has a horrible story.
On the evening of Dec. 22, 2011, she saw her father, a Christian pastor, shot three times in the chest by three members of the Islamist radical group Boko Haram. While her father lay on the floor of his home, the men debated whether or not they should kill her brother Caleb. As her father breathed his last, they killed Caleb too. The men made the young girl lie between the corpses and she stayed there until the next morning, when a local pastor paid for her to get out of the region. That pastor was killed in 2013 — again, by Boko Haram.

"UNDER-AGE MATRIMONY - Agony of the Girl Child"
Laws are subject to change or amendment but the primitive nature of man would rather die with errors than allow provision for correction.

Under-age marriage of the female child is a practice in certain parts of the world, recognised (accepted) by some religions, traditions, cultures, or laws. It entails the giving out of an underaged child or minor by her parents with or without her consent into marriage.

Under-age marriage of the female child is a practice in certain parts of the world, recognised (accepted) by some religions, traditions, cultures, or laws. It entails the giving out of an underaged child or minor by her parents with or without her consent into marriage.
Although there are reported cases of underaged male child matrimony, this text encompasses the travails of the female gender and the negative impact on society. Female child underage marriage has no morally justifiable reason in today's civilized world. The analysis is a non-religious, non-biased, or non-political point of view.

Bring Them Back! Gen. Muhammadu Buhari On Chibok School Girls
Over the past few weeks, the abduction of the school girls at Chibok, Borno State has underscored the threat we have been facing as a nation in recent times from the actions of misguided persons masquerading as adherents of Islam.
Our hearts are with families who have lost loved ones in this cycle of senseless violence. We also empathize with the parents of children whose daughters are in the custody of a group of anarchists.
That horrific video posted on the internet is a clear manifestation of the mindlessness of the bigots. It shows them for whom they are, such men cannot threaten nor should they be allowed to violate our sovereignty. It is clear from what they profess that they are not following God. They do not mean well for our country and her citizens.
I am a Muslim, I am versed in the teaching of Christianity and I understand both religions seek peaceful coexistence of all humanity. I wish to reiterate that there is no justification whatsoever for this unrestrained disregard for the sanctity of human life. It has no place in the Holy Qur'an and neither does it have a place in the Holy Bible.

Agents of irrational violence, unperturbed by the spilling of the blood of children let alone fazed by their abduction rampage across the land.
Armed insurgent child molesters and rapists have laid siege to our schools, and converted the learning environment into the butcher’s slab and a place to shop for virgins. And they do this while their civilian cohorts, the political child rapists and child molesters perpetrate and perpetuate actions that further enhance the vulnerability of our children.

“There is nothing in the military statement that is true about our abducted girls,” Mrs. Kwambura said. “Up till now we are still waiting and praying for the safe return of the students; all I know is that we have only 14 of them, and the security people especially the Vigilante and the well meaning volunteers of Gwoza are still out searching for them.”

How Boko Haram Kill an Emir and 19 others in Borno State
(AP) - Officials say suspected Islamic militants (Boko Haram) killed 20 people including a traditional ruler in northeast Nigeria in four attacks across the country in three days.
Monday's massive explosion killed 175 people in Abuja, the capital, and on Tuesday gunmen kidnapped about 100 female students in the northeast.
Politician Hyeldi Bwala says gunmen marched into the palace of the emir of Gwoza on Tuesday evening and gunned him down along with his security guard.
Just last week the emir had appealed to the government to "save our souls," saying his people were being attacked daily.
Two officials say gunmen on Wednesday morning attacked a village in Gwoza district and killed 18 people.
The attacks strengthen doubts about the ability of Nigeria's military to contain the 5-year-old Islamic uprising.
