We are doing our best, we are seeing rays of hope – Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan said in Abuja on Sunday that the Federal Government had no plans to increase pump price petroleum for now.

Jonathan, who gave this assurance at a Presidential Media Chat, noted that such action could not be taken without following due process and the consent of Nigerians.

“I have no plans now to change petroleum pump price, but if I have to do it, I will do it following due process’’, the President said.

He denied insinuations that his administration was not decisive enough to fight corruption in the country.

According to him, the federal government is doing everything possible to investigate and bring to book every corrupt public officer.

APC’s Muslim-Muslim Ticket, A Mere Speculation – Audu Ogbeh, I'm Still In APC - Fani-Kayode

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who is also Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) former national chairman, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has described APC Muslim-Muslim ticket speculations for the 2015 presidential election as a mere speculation that has no base.

Ogbeh affirmed this while reacting to what he called a partisan ruling by Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court, Abuja which ordered 37 members of the House of Representatives, who defected to the APC from the PDP, to vacate their seats.

Meanwhile a formal Minister of Aviation and a member of the All Progressive Congress, APC, who is also the advocate of 'No to Muslim-Muslim Ticket', Femi Fani-Kayode has also said he is still in APC and that his position against the speculations of Muslim- Muslim presidential and vice presidential ticket and his recent visit to the presidential villa where he had a closed door meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan has not amount to dumping APC for PDP.
