Ekiti Poll: APC Lies To Nigerians Regarding Kano Governor’s Air Travel - PREMIUM TIMES

The claim by the All Progressives Congress, APC, that federal officials prevented the plane carrying the Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, from landing in Akure is false, PREMIUM TIMES can reveal.

At the time the APC was claiming that the Kano governor was being barred from getting to Ekiti, the spokesperson of the governor told PREMIUM TIMES his boss was in Kano and had no plans to travel to Ekiti.

The APC, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, claimed Mr. Kwankwaso and two other APC governors, Adams Oshiomhole of Edo and Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers, were barred from getting to Ekiti to support Governor Kayode Fayemi’s re-election bid.

Blame APC For Abuja Bomb Explosion - PDP

Following the deadly bomb blast that rocked Abuja today,the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused and blame the opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Monday incidence in which over 71 persons were reportefly killed and 124 injured according to the Police report.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, condemned as barbaric, monstrous and extremely wicked, the explosion which occurred at Nyanya motor park today, on the outskirts of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. Metuh, who insisted that the bomb blasts could not be justified under any means, but that they were politically motivated and can be traced to the comments of desperate persons who seek to undermine and discredit the Jonathan's administration and make the nation ungovernable for him by instituting a reign of terror against the people.

Following his visitation to the Presidential Villa yesterday, and purported closed door meet with the President Goodluck Jonathan and an alleged speculations that he may dump the newly merged opposition political party in the country, All Progressive Congress, APC, the former Minister of Aviation and a vocal member  of the leading opposition party, Femi Fani-Kaayode has raised concerns that such speculations that he may leave the party should stop that the presidency belongs to every Nigerian.

 The Former Minister said; "I was at the Villa yesterday and what transpired there has been the subject of much online speculation. What I said to the media whilst there was very clear and I chose my words carefully. Let those that are interested read those words in today's newspapers rather than speculate. Other than that I will say no more on this matter until I am ready to do so."
