Osun House of Assembly to pass a bill to curb street hawking and illegal market set up

The Speaker of the state of Osun House of Assembly, Najeem Folasayo Salaam,  said the state House of Assembly is ready to put an end to street trading and illegal markets in the state. 

This was disclosed during the consideration of a bill on street trading and illegal markets set up on Thursday, March 24, at Osogbo, the Osun capital. 

Salaam stressed that it would be an offence for any person or group of persons to engage in street hawking or operate in illegal markets in the state once the bill becomes law. He said the law would promote the cleanliness of the state stating that this was one of the major aims of the government. 

Osun Election: Military are Hellbent To Truncate This Democracy - YRG

It is obvious that the military are hellbent to truncate the Nigeria  Democracy as their current unprofessional and partisan position in Osun state have indicated.

With the manner in which the security agents deployed for the Osun Governorship election, especially the soldiers and the SSS, are going about arresting, harassing and intimidating the targeted political leaders and supporters of  of the APC, there is certainly going to be an unprecedented revolt if the military men and SSS don't retreat  in their attempt to coerce the people in favour of the PDP candidate, Sen. Tensions in PDP as Adeleke Joins Osun Guber Race

Apparently, there are tensions and shiverings within the ranks and files of who is who within the Osun state Peoples Democratic Party as a former governor of the State, Alhaji Isiaka Adeleke, joined the race for the August 9 governorship election in the state. This was contained in a statement in Osogbo on Sunday, by a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, Mr. Femi Adefila.
