The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Osun state has just finish the conduct of the party's primaries for the Governorship Election flag bearer of the party in the coming election slate for August 9th of this year.
The result of the APC primary election indicated that out of over 355,000 registered APC members in the State of Osun, more than 78% - over 269,000 turned up to vote for the incumbent and super-performing governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, endorsing him to bear the flag of the part for the second time in the next governorship race.
The Chief Returning Officer of the party has just declared that Gov. Rauf Aregbesola recorded 269,631 YES votes against 0 NO votes to win the Osun State APC direct primaries Governorship election which took place throughout 332 wards and 30 local governments of the state today!
Ogbeni Abdulrauf Adesoji Aregbesola and the party (All Progressive Congress), will now be battle ready to devour whosoever may want to sent them parking from Abere, the seat of the government of Osun State.
The Main opposition party in the state, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has , in the party's primaries elected the former Deputy Governor, Senator Iyiola Omisore to stand for the party comes augus 9
