Ccorruption Scourge: Magu Thumbs Up NAJUC For Initiative In Organizing An Event To Discuss Fight Against Corruption

The Acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Mustapha Magu has thumbs up for the National Association of Judicial Correspondents (NAJUC) Lagos State Chapter for the initiative in organizing an event tailored to discuss the corruption scourge bedeviling the nation and truncating its growth and development. 

Magu made the commendation at the 2016 Annual Lecture and Media Award Ceremony which took place at the Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos. 

Speaking on the theme: Judiciary, Media: Anti-Graft Agencies and the Fight Against Corruption, Magu addressed issues of questionable bail administration, delay in the trial of high-profile corruption cases, the judicial technology of "de novo", corruption in the bench and non-compliance with or ineffectiveness of the new Administration of Criminal Justice Act. 

He was represented at the event by Head, Public Affairs, Lagos Zonal office of the EFCC, Samin Amaddin.
