The president signed the letter of notice for dispatch to Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara, hours after his nationwide broadcast to the nation Monday morning.

The presidential spokesperson, Femi Adesina, disclosed the development in a statement on Monday afternoon. “In line with constitutional provision, President Muhammadu Buhari has written the National Assembly, notifying the legislature of his return to office, after returning from medical vacation in London,” disclosed Mr. Adesina.

On President Buhari: We Watch, We Wait!

Without a shred of doubt, President Buhari is VERY ILL. We are humans and our body is programmed to deteriorate and decay. Here is a 74 year old man, who has a lingering health issue. Unfortunately, his incompetent and arrogant media team feeds the frenzy. I read Femi Adesina's puerile statement on the extention notice and I could only exhale.

Ordinary Name, Botanical Name By Pius Adesanmi

The 22-page 2017 State House Appropriation Bill (alias proposed Aso Rock budget for 2017) is a document that must be read only by the brave and the strong.

No lessons learnt from last year's debacle.
No lessons learnt from all the preceding years combined.

The preceding years are no excuse, no alibi. The rot is what President Buhari and his team are supposed to change.

If you are bold enough to read the document, you will be treated to more than a lifetime's worth of absurdities.

President Buhari's Must Do List

Time is an unrecoverable asset, you have lost a year and on track to lose another. I recommend the following;

Remove Abba Kyari, he is sabotaging your anti corruption drive and he appears to own you.

Remove Mamman Daura he is no good.

Replace Femi Adesina before the damage to your person becomes irreparable.

Replace some ministers.

COUNT PRESIDENT BUHARI OUT OF N'ASSEMBLY CRISIS - Adesina

Since the appointment of Femi Adesina as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, he has applied himself to the job, making frantic efforts to defend the administrative policies of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government. In this exclusive interview with Independent correspondent in the Aso Villa, INNOCENT OWEH, he dismissed allegations by the national assembly leadership that the Presidency was behind its many travails. He also spoke on why the immediate past administration of President Goodluck Jonathan abandoned several Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) signed with foreign allies, which could have translated to more development for the country.

With the gloomy economy, workers are becoming tensed, and recently staff of the Federal Ministry of Finance protested over poor welfare issues, are you aware of their grievances?

I read the explanation from the finance ministry that what they are agitating for had been stopped by the previous government, that explains it. If there would be further explanations, I think its the ministry of finance that would do it, but I think what they have said satisfies me, it suffices for now

President Buhari Will Sign A Budget That Is On Tthe Side Of The People - Femi Adesina

Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, was on Radio Continental recently. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Let us talk about the China trip. What took you over there and what happened there?

As you know, China has a surfeit of infrastructure, while Nigeria has infrastructure deficit. What took us out there was how we could benefit from this surfeit that China has in terms of infrastructure, particularly rail, housing, agric, solid minerals, all the sectors in which Nigeria needs improvement. How can China be of benefit to us was what took the President and his delegation out there. And I must say that it was a splendid visit, a visit that inspired every member of the delegation. And you know when you get inspired, you then begin to aspire. We saw so many wonderful things in China and we began to ask ourselves; when will our country get there? But then we aspire to also get there. God is great, I know we will get there.
