UNION SUSPENSION AND ASSAULTS: GOVERNOR AHMED MAIGIDA RASCALITY NEEDS BE CHECKED WITH URGENT ALACRITY

One begins to wonder if the system of the government of kwara is different from the system of other states in Nigeria. in a Democratic system which we claimed to operate, every action both from the government and the governed are supposed to be in tandem with what we called "The Rule of Law".

As such, if truly we are operating a decent democracy, the following are characters that should guide our conducts:
Equality before the law,
freedom from oppression and intimidation,
Freedom of association(not indecent grouping like cultisms)
Political Tolerance. ...
Accountability. ...
Transparency. ...
Regular, Free and Fair Elections. ...
Control of the Abuse of Power.

The angry college of education workers that have not been paid for good 14 months rose up few days ago to show their grievances to government of the state who is indebted to them. How will this solve the perenial salary crises?Kwarans will recall this similar act of rascality and indecency also occured in September during the NULGE peaceful protest at Government House in Ilorin city.

On that faithful day the governor ordered the heavily armed security to open fire on NULGE protesters for demanding governor explanation on the then 7 months unpaid salaries.

After opening fire on the protesters which led to untimely death of some aged members, illicit handpicking and detention of many of the protesters.,..............................TO BE CONTINUED!
